FranConnect Founders

Amit Pamecha, CFE – Amit Pamecha is the Founder and CEO of FranConnect – The world’s #1 provider of Franchise management and recruitment systems. Amit has personally worked with over 300 Franchise organizations, helping them implement solutions for improving franchise recruitment, enhancing franchisee relationships and performance. Under Amit’s leadership, FranConnect has grown to become the world’s largest technology provider to franchise systems with over 200 employees and over 450 franchise brands as customers. Amit is also a frequent speaker, motivator and strategist helping franchise organizations find creative solutions to their complex needs. Amit serves on the board of the IFA supplier forum and is a Certified Franchise Executive.

Prior to FranConnect, Amit was a Co-founder and CTO of Zgraffiti and Director of E-Commerce at SRA International, a global consulting leader. Amit has a MS in Robotics from Johns Hopkins University and a B.Tech from IIT Delhi. Amit also holds patents on Public Key Infrastructure and Metamorphic robots.

Late Bernie Browning, Mentor Bernie was one of the key mentors who helped FranConnect grow and evolve into a Franchise systems powerhouse. In his illustrious career spanning over 40 years in Franchising, Bernie had founded General Business Services in 1962 and, grew it to over 1100 franchised locations. He had also served as the Chairman of the International Franchise Association, was an early recipient of the IFA Hall of Fame Award (awarded once a year to an individual that has contributed the most to Franchising) and was associated with several IFA committees and initiatives.

Leadership

Stan Friedman, CFE – Stan Friedman is the Vice Chairman of FranConnect – bringing nearly two dozen years of franchisor experience with him. As a specialist in franchise development and relationships, Stan’s expertise is now being brought to bear, for hundreds of FranConnect’s clients. Previously, Stan served in leadership and development positions for several well known franchise brands, such as Wing Zone, WSI Internet, ERA Franchise Systems and Prudential Real Estate Affiliates.

Stan Friedman is a founding Board member and first vice-chair of IFA’s Diversity Institute, chairs the advisory board of the Professional Athlete Franchising Initiative, a collaborative that works in conjunction with IFA, to bring soon-to-retire professional athletes to a whole new playing field, that of business ownership, through franchising, a board member of the Southeast Franchise Forum (IFA’s Atlanta-based FBN) and is the 2010 recipient of IFA’s prestigious Ron E. Harrison Diversity Award.

Nick Mecozzi – Nick Mecozzi is the Vice President of Client Services at FranConnect. His background in managing technical implementation projects includes work with IBM, The Boeing Company and Sony Corporation/Inc. Magazine as well as numerous startup companies in Silicon Valley. He brings a customer-focused expertise and strong project management skills to FranConnect, and is also in charge of process improvement for FranConnect’s most recent product, Captivate.

Rajiv Garg – Rajiv Garg has been in charge of the India operations since 2004. He is an IT expert and visionary, and has 35 years of experience in IT industry. Rajiv has successfully run many IT companies from inception to completion. He has been one of the youngest CEOs in the IT industry since 1988. His experience includes major trading markets like USA, West Europe, Australia and Singapore/Hong Kong.
